SERVICES TO THE EMPLOYER

  • We listen to and understand your needs. WE CARE.
  • We recommend only those qualified applicants. Our nannies are good in English and have experience looking
    after children or the elderly. Some have completed Caregiver Training courses to better themselves and
    give them the necessary skills to take care of your loved ones.
  • We screen each applicant's documents and do  background and reference checks. We will show you all
    their documentation on request. Further screening for overseas nannies is done by the Canadian Embassy
    to ensure that the original documents are in order and that they meet all requirements to enroll in the
    live-in caregiver program. A criminal check is also done both for overseas and local nannies. All nannies /
    caregivers must go to the local police station and obtain a police clearance. Medical tests are also
    required for overseas nannies / caregivers to make sure they are healthy before they come to Canada.
  • We prepare all documents required.
  • We can help you prepare a schedule of duties for your nanny / caregiver to follow, if requested.
  • We respect and maintain confidentiality for both the employer and the applicant.
  • We provide extensive follow-up. When your nanny / caregiver arrives here in Canada, we will provide a
    CareGiver package to help them as a guide in their new environment. We stress that the employer also
    help with orientating their new nanny / caregiver.

OVERSEAS LIVE-IN NANNIES / CAREGIVERS

THE COST OF HAVING AN OVERSEAS LIVE-IN NANNY / CAREGIVER

See our sample payroll chart below, so you can better understand what it really costs every month to hire an
overseas live-in full time nanny / caregiver. Compare that with using a daycare for multiple children or a nursing
home for the elderly. The chart below represents Ontario, which is based on a $10.25 minimum wage rate
(effected April 01, 2010). Full-time employment is anywhere from 30 to 48 hours per week. Anything over 44
hours is considered overtime. For other locations in Canada, please contact the CCRA for the prevailing rate in
your area.

















EASY STEPS FOR APPLYING FOR A NANNY / CAREGIVER (LOCAL OR OVERSEAS)

  • Employer must complete our agency APPLICATION FORM (This form helps us to assess your needs).
    Forward this by email, fax, or mail to our attention. Or, you can fill out our ONLINE APPLICATION
    FORM.
  • After we receive the forms, we will review our nannies profiles and will match the  most suitable nanny
    to your family needs or you can view our AVAILABLE NANNIES ONLINE and make a selection.
  • Once you choose the right nanny for your family from our online profile, we will contact you for further
    instruction.
  • For local families, we will set up a convenient time to meet you at your home to discuss further the
    applicant of your choice and start the necessary paperwork.
  • For distant families, we will conduct telephone interviews and courier the necessary documents to you.
  • Sit back and relax. We will follow up with the applicant and keep you up-to-date with the progress of their
    papers and inform you when the nanny / caregiver will arrive in Canada. Typical timeframe for the
    complete process is 3-6 months for Hong Kong nannies / caregivers, longer for nannies  /caregivers from
    other countries. If time is critical, please act fast to get the process started so that your nanny
    /caregiver can arrive when req'd.
